Solon turns over P6-M road project in Zambo
Zamboanga City (PNA) — First district Rep. Ma. Isabelle Climaco turned over a P6 million road concreting project as part of her efforts to sustain development in her district to ensure easy access to the resident of Malagutay, west of this city.
According to Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) District Engineer Merham Acas, the road project that inaugurated Monday covers the said area, which used to be dilapidated, leading to the headquarters of Task Force Zamboanga (TFZ) in Camp Gen. Arturo Enrile.
Acas said the project was realized through the initiative of Climaco and funded under the 2009 budget of DPWH.
Climaco said the project will benefit the commuters of this city and vehicles plying the route from Zamboanga City Public Market to Malagutay and vice-versa.
Climaco also augmented the fund with additional P1 million from her Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) for the asphalt overlay.
Acas said the implementation of the project shows Climaco’s commitment by Climaco to advance the general welfare of her constituents through the continuous project implementation. (PNA)
